Today, the day belongs to the memory of LT N.Minter Dial the Commanding Officer of the USS Napa AT-32 who perished here.
Information on this Officer and this ship can be found on the www, just 'google' it. His surviving family members dedicated this plaque to him and the ship.

Just to give you an idea where you are- looking down the shore wall in front of the SBMA HQ towards the former Officer Boat Landing.
This is a historical view from the Memorial. The new container port at Cubi Point is finnished and the 1st ship has come and is gone and the first containers ever are in plain view, signalling "The Port is Open".
